Sustainable hectares

Sustainable Agriculture is defined in this Project by analyzing the adoption of a number of options related to sustainable agriculture practices and technologies from an extended list of alternatives. A scorecard was designed by the Project team and applied to each agricultural log to measure progress across three natural resources dimensions: water, air, and soil. A Sustainable Agriculture hectare is considered as such when a set of practices or technologies has been documented in a significant manner in at least two out of the three mentioned dimensions (basic); an advanced level of adoption requires positive impact across all three dimensions.
